Buyers association against fake products

Info for Sellers

Dear sellers and store representatives . We are glad to see you on our website, and thank you for your interest in our efforts to protect customers and improve the good reputation of honest sellers.

First of all, we would like to say a few words about why we started this project. Our main objective is to protect customers from fraudulent activities related to the selling of fake products, instead of high quality, authentic brand-name goods. Obviously, selling copper and passing it off as gold is a crime. We believe that selling fake goods, while claiming them to be authentic products, is just as much of a crime.

Here we should note that we divide sellers into two categories. The first group is the dishonest sellers, who should rather be referred to as „scammers“. In order to increase profits, they intentionally sell fake goods to customers. Unfortunately, there are fake copies of nearly every product, and often these fakes cost a fraction of the original goods. It is not always easy to tell the difference between an original and a fake, and scammers make use of this fact.

We actively challenge all kinds of fraudulent activities. Primarily, we inform major retailers, such as  Amazon, Ebay, Craiglist, Walmart, Alibaba, Aliexpress, and others about the  attempts by dishonest sellers to sell fake goods. We also inform the main payment systems, like PayPal, about the possible use of their systems by scammers in deceiving customers. Of course we also inform brand owners whose products have been copied, so that they are able to suppress these activities by filing claims in court.

Another important aspect of our work is informing end clients about their rights as buyers, and letting them know how to distinguish a specific original product from a copy. Most manufacturers do their best to protect their goods from counterfeiting, and in many cases one can tell the difference between an authentic product and a copy by taking note of simple visual discrepancies.

We inform customers about any and all intentional frauds we have found by maintaining an up-to-date Blacklist of dishonest sellers on our website, in addition to posting this information through other channels like social media, news blogs, etc.

The second group represents the honest and responsible sellers who do not scam their customers. These sellers place a high value on their reputations and willingly cooperate with us by providing goods for inspection and verification, exchanging information about suppliers, and sharing experiences about working with them.

Unfortunately, even respectable sellers can find themselves suffering from dishonest activities. We do our best to help them avoid such circumstances, assisting them in the development of their businesses, adding them to the Green List on our website, recommending them to our visitors, and posing information about trustworthy wholesale suppliers. In case where we find fake goods among the products of a seller who was willingly working with us, we make sure they are the first to know that they have fake goods in their mix. Such information is enough for a fair seller to immediately remove the fake goods, and track down how those products ended up in their warehouse.

If you have any questions or suggestions, please don’t hesitate to send them in using our email for sellers. We’ll do our best to reply as quickly as possible.

We work for honest business.

We fight against fraud in any shape or form.
