Anyone can be put at risk of fraud, especially when making purchases online.

The most widespread type of scam involves sending customers a cheap Chinese fake, instead of an authentic brand-name product.

One of the most important tasks is not only to choose a product, but also to choose a seller. Our website is aimed at increasing customer protection, and our team consists not only of technical specialists and lawyers, but also authors, photographers, and, of course, end customers! It is you, through your comments and requests, that give us ideas for new articles with reviews of various products and suppliers!

We regularly post the results of all our investigations here, on this website. Each seller is either selected to join the green list of trustworthy suppliers with unchallenged reputations, or is placed on our blacklist of scammers. Likewise, we inform brand owners (whose products were copied) along with large retail chains (like Amazon.com, Ebay.com, Walmart.com, etc.) about the illegal activities of sellers from our blacklist.

As part of our work we are regularly in contact with sellers; buying products from them and running checks on products bought by our expert team and by other customers. When a supplier refuses to cooperate with us in running the expert tests, it is taken as a sign of possible fraudulent activities by that supplier and a red flag for us to conduct a deeper investigation, and possibly put this supplier on our blacklist.

Sellers that are willing to provide us with products for testing are promptly informed of the test results as well as an overall quality review of the tested product samples. Responsible sellers usually take all the necessary measures to stop the selling of any fake products found in their mix and improve coordination and oversight with their suppliers.

We also make sure that all information on our website is up-to-date, and that any and all changes related to a given seller, are published immediately. We also promptly react to all requests, questions, and/or claims received from customers.

We’re not trying to police the market, but see our mission as one to protect customers from possible fraudulent activities.
